Secure Storage
Corporations put a lot of time, effort, and money into securing their applications and databases. In reality, even with all of these proactive measures, most companies are still dangerously vulnerable.
Dispersed Storage Technology takes data storage to an unprecedented level of security by fragmenting and dispersing encrypted data to distinct storage centers around the world. Stored data can only be re-assembled and delivered to the appropriate application upon presentation of the owner’s PassKey (see the Access Control Page for details).

This technique results in far safer data storage capacity for many reasons:
- All data stored by WWPass is encrypted
- A complete set of stored data does not exist in any one place
- Stored data is not linked to any personal identification information
- Hacking into a WWPass server yields only encrypted data fragments that cannot be associated with any particular person
No back doors
- No WWPass employees can assist in any data hacking because WWPass does not hold encryption keys, which are stored in the user's PassKey (see the Access Control Page for details)
- No customer information is stored by WWPass; customers remain anonymous
- WWPass does not track user activity
